How we work
Every lot of kiwi that enters Kano Farm is meant to leave a record: grower, weight, grade, pack and buyer.

Farm
Orchards at Kano Farm and producer plots in the valley.

Harvest
Fruit is picked in season and recorded against farm, plot and grower.

Collection
Lots arrive with a farmer, a date and a weight.

Weighing
Gross, tare and net. Rejected fruit is noted. Accepted weight enters the house.

Batch
Each accepted lot receives an identity: EAN-KF-YEAR-NNNNN.

Grading
Fruit is sorted into the grades the house actually uses.

Inventory
Stock is stored, reserved, packed or written off with a movement ledger.

Packing
Boxes are labelled. A QR points at the public batch record.
09
Order
Retail and wholesale orders draw from real available stock.
10
Payment
An order is paid only when a payment is recorded and verified.

Dispatch
Vehicles, drivers and proof of delivery sit on the same record.
